About Us & Fees

Our fees for individual counselling and coaching sessions are charged at £55 for 55-60 minutes.

Relationship counselling is charged at £65 for 60 mins.

Child and Young people’s therapy is £50 per 50 min sessions. 10 minutes of this time is dedicated to parent/counsellor feedback.

Specialised therapy sessions are £65 for 50-60 mins (alcohol dependency, CBT, domestic abuse).

There is a 10% discount applied on all sessions for students.

We offer a REDUCED-RATE SUPPORT SERVICE for clients who are unable to pay for full-cost counselling sessions. We assess everyone’s circumstances individually, however any sessions granted will be £35 each. Please enquire to see if you are eligible for this service. Call 01527 304072. This service is for adult individuals only, and does not extend to couples, children, teenagers and families.

Julie Ward-Hampson, Service Managing Director, Counsellor MBACP

Owner of Bromsgrove & Redditch Therapy Centre.

Julie Hampson runs Bromsgrove & Redditch Therapy Centre which provides therapeutic specialist support to anyone needing professional assistance and guidance with resolving personal problems. Julie and her team are committed to helping people to talk about their issues, think about their choices and behaviour, and make positive changes to move forward. The teams approach to providing therapy is innovative and unique, and certainly not ‘text-book’ counselling.

The aim is to fully engage with their clients and provide the necessary level of service to bring about a successful outcome for their clients. They pride themselves on offering a high standard of personal service which is tailor-made to the individual. Julie is a qualified counsellor with experience in all areas of therapeutic work. She specialises in alcohol dependency, OCD and relationships. She is the author of ‘The ACT Programme’ which identifies destructive cycles of thoughts and behaviour, promoting control and empowerment in the life of the individual. This approach is proven to be successful particularly with control issues and addictions.

Julie’s qualifications include a Certificate in Counselling Theory, a Certificate in Counselling Studies, an Advanced Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, APT Certified CBT Therapist, Certificate in the Treatment of Addictions, Diploma in Working With Sex & Couples. She is a registered member of the BACP.

Louise O’Malley – Senior Counsellor MBACP

Senior Therapist

Louise is a trained Person Centred Counsellor. Without being too technical, that means that the approach to counselling is a non-directive one which is led by you. You can talk to Louise in confidence without being judged and she can facilitate those changes within

yourself in a safe, supportive environment.

Meghana Badami – Integrative Counsellor (MBACP & Member of NCS), Trainee Psychotherapist

Meghana is a qualified integrative counsellor offering counselling to both individuals and couples providing a safe space to explore your thoughts in depth allowing you to understand your inner self within a non-judgemental and confidential environment. Empathy and congruence play a significant role within the counselling relationship. Meghana can offer help in coping with anxiety, anger management, stress, lack of confidence, low self-esteem, sexual and domestic abuse. Working with women that are victims of domestic abuse, has made Meghana learn the emotions they are constantly experiencing which is anxiety and stress. Meghana will support her clients by introducing coping strategies/techniques that can assist them in calming their mind and soul which most certainly bring them to present times. Meghana works using breathing techniques along with mindfulness exercises that help women to identify between the past experiences and reality. Victoria Crumpton – Counsellor MBACP (Registered)

Victoria is a trained Integrative Counsellor and works with couples, individuals, children (11+) and young people.

She is a dedicated and compassionate counsellor, whose aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings. Victoria has 20 years experiences of working with children and young people. She also has a wealth of experience working within domestic abuse organisations, and the impact this can have on adults and children, regardless of age, gender, or class. Victoria combines professional expertise with the wisdom from experiencing many challenging life events. She believes the experiences allow her to bring genuine empathy, understanding and relatability to your work together.

She is an integrative counsellor, with a focus on the person centred approach. This means she draws from a range of therapeutic approaches to provide clients with a personalised and holistic experience. Victoria believes that no single method fits everyone, so she integrates techniques from person centred therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and transactional analysis (TA) to address the unique emotional, mental and relational needs of those she works with. Her aim is to provide a warm, supportive and collaborative environment where clients can explore their challenges, discover their strengths and achieve meaningful growth. Emma Irvine, Integrative Counsellor MBACP

Emma is an integrative humanistic counsellor, working with Gestalt and Transactional Analysis, she focuses on being fully present with clients, actively listening to their stories. This helps individuals deal with anxiety, overthinking, and depression by encouraging awareness of physical sensations and emotions. A key part of the approach is exploring how the body feels and where specific emotions are experienced, facilitating deeper understanding and healing. CBT is integrated to support clients in investigating their thought process and how to reduce negative thought cycles. The focus is on supporting clients in doing the work in-between sessions to facilitate their own growth, everyone can grow if given the conditions they need.

Zaira Carrasco Diaz, Counsellor MBACP

Zaira is a trained Integrative Counsellor (PCT; AT; IPNB) who works with individuals, children and young people.

With a background in counselling and experience as a Mental Well-Being Practitioner, she specialises in providing Person-Centred Therapy, tailoring each session to the individual’s unique needs and goals.

When working with children and young people Zaira often uses therapeutic play which helps the child and young person relax and talk about their needs at an easier pace, as well as helping her observe and gain insight’s into a child’s problem.

Joanne Tiller – Counsellor MBACP

Jo is a qualified Counsellor who works with adults, children and young people. Her aim is to provide a warm, safe and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace.

With a non-directive, person-centred approach, Jo works to understand individuals from their unique perspective, ensuring sessions are led by her client.

Having trained within a primary school (Place2Be) and working with children and adolescents in schools for a local charity (Let’s Talk Well, previously TIC+), Jo understands that finding ways to express emotions can sometimes be difficult. She often uses creative methods to help clients feel more at ease and to find comfortable ways of expressing themselves. This can be especially helpful for children and adolescents, or individuals who may feel apprehensive about starting their counselling journey.
